That First Year

UPDATE: Realized I bit off more than I could chew (as usual), and extended my own deadline!

I made a list of things I'd like to do with Leon before our First Married Year is up.  What can I say?  I'm a sentimental person, and this is a sentimental year.  Also, I'm SUPER excited about the warm weather.  I'll be keeping track right here and crossing things off the list as we go.  Leon has of course been consulted, and he is (enthusiastically) on board!

To do by our first anniversary (July 1, 2008) the end of summer 2008:

1. Have a portrait of us taken on Charles Bridge
2. Overnight trip to a village outside Prague 
   
3. Ride bikes
   
4. Picnic on Petřín Hill
5. Candlelit dinner on our balcony 
   
6. Take a guided walking tour of Prague
7. The Prague Zoo 
   
8. Spend an entire day in bed
9. Create a joint financial plan
   
10. Make my mom's kimchi bap
    
11. Attend another opera, concert, or show 
    
12. Spend a day at Divoká Šárka
    
13. Champagne on a Vltava river boat
    
14. Make goulash
15. Take a tram all the way from one end of the line to the other
16. Take pictures in a photo booth inside one of the Metro stations
17. Write on the John Lennon Wall
18. Buy shots of Becherovka (or Fernet) from the hot dog stands in Wenceslas Square
19. Make Leon's mom's chili 
    
20. Dinner on a park bench
    
21. Charles Bridge at dawn
22. Finish reading Iron John
    
23. Send a "Guess what!?" email to S., the RA who introduced us in college
    
24. Make osso buco
    
25. Make a wish from Charles Bridge
26. Celebrate the Czech version of May Day 
    
27. Make kimbap
